At Sagewood Childcare, our Classrooms are designed to feel warm, welcoming, and homelike; spaces where children feel safe to explore, create, and connect. In the Reggio-inspired tradition, we view the environment as the "third teacher," carefully curating materials and cozy arrangements that spark curiosity and invite discovery.

Our intimate size ensures every child is truly known, cared for, and supported each day. Limited spots mean deeper connections, stronger relationships, and a genuine sense of belonging.

We intentionally keep our groups small, honoring each child's voice and allowing teachers to form close, responsive relationships. Low ratios allow us to slow down, listen closely, and support each child while nurturing a strong sense of community. 

Our Environment

Sagewood is housed within a beautiful church building on Elm Street in the historic town of Exeter, New Hampshire. The Reggio Emilia philosophy reminds us that the environment is considered the "third teacher"- shaping how children learn, explore and connect. Rooted in this understanding, our spaces are crafted and thoughtfully prepared with care and intention, offering a safe and welcoming place where they feel supported in their growth and discovery.

Tuition and Enrollment

At Sagewood Childcare, we are proud to be the first in the area to offer true schedule flexibility. YOU choose the days that work best for YOUR family. Our Reggio-inspired program provides consistent, high-quality care, no matter how many days you attend. Please note tuition includes two healthy, organic snacks daily, unlimited water supply, and all program materials.

Weekly Tuition Options

• 5 days: $490

• 4 days: $420

• 3 days: $360

• 2 days: $260

• 1 day: $140

Additional Details

• Tuition: Billed the first day of the month or bi-weekly

• Enrollment Fee: $249 per child, billed annually

• Sibling Discount: 10% off weekly Tuition for additional children

• Early Drop-off: 6:30am arrival available at $10/day

• Attendance: The days you select will remain your set schedule, unless changes are requested at least 30 days in advance

• Flexibility: Additional days may be added if available

• Capacity: Limited to 20 children total, keeping our community small and personal

• Absences & Closures: Tuition is charged regardless of attendance. This includes days missed due to illness, family vacations, inclement weather or days when Sagewood is closed
